Is there anyone here knows the reason why Cathay Pacific 747-400 diverted to Diosdado Airport last 04/20/08?

I just would like to know the details why Cathay Pacific 747-400 passenger plane diverted to Diosdado Macapagal Airport in Pampanga last April 20, 2008.

might be the naia have a traffict in their runway cause it always happen due to 3 airports and only 2 runways that cant support a large number of aircraft so im just say to you it wasnt the airlines fault it was thei fault!!!!!!!!

Yes. Probably because of weather. All airports have their alternate airports not too near to have the same weather conditions but not too far for the aircraft to not reach it with just the remaining fuel.

why, where is it supposed to land? Like going to Xiamen, China in case of weather the alternate airport is Hongkong, in the same way flights to Manila in case of weather is diverted to alternate airport at diosdado airport.
