Anytime I see a decision these days, I can't help but think that it could be corrupt.

  1. I agree with you 100% but nowadays all the fights seem to be somewhere near the correct answers.  Now all the people say boxing is terrible its corrupt but really i think boxing is a good sport and i think tht it is pretty good the only thing that is corrupt about it is how the best fighter dosent choose to fight the other best fighters.  If you can make tht happen and get a young american heavyweight then i think boxing will be at its finest.  The 60's and 70's and 80's was great boxing bc they had great american heavywegiths like ali, frazier, foreman, norton, holmes, and all those guys were american fighters.  Now heavyweights are down and russian.  But i do agree other people that dont watch boxing nowadays try to convince me its corrupt but i dont think that it is bc all the fights are coming and i think there are more boxing fans now in the past 10 years b/c thye have the cover boy of boxing in mayweather and other young stars like pavlik, pacqiaou, cotto and other strong exciting fighers.

  2. It is corrupt and that hurts the biz.  If I were supreme benevolent dictator, I'd overhaul boxing by regionalizing it, but with  global oversight.  I'd change a few rules, and make judges accountable.  And find a way to over-rule a bad decision into a no-contest.

Break down the minor champions by continents, with 1 world champion per division.  Modernize the rules, such as allowing a corner up to 5 minutes to close a cut from an accidental headbutt.  A fighter that spits a mouthpiece has to fight on without it.  The defending champion decides the length of a defense, from 12 to 15 rounds.  Standardize the rules so english boxing fans won't go crazy when a fight is properly refereed.

  3. One champion per weight class and mandatory defenses!
