I'm not. It's always refreshing for me to see fans who dare to be different and who's drivers aren't one of the huge superstars (Jr, Gordon, Stewart) and like drivers such as Edwards, Truex, Newman, Sadler, Bowyer etc.

I work for a company that makes racing brake pads and high performance clutch plates. I am not a fan of Dale Jr. or any other driver.

I'm just not interested in racing even if some parts I personally made are on the winning car.

And you asked what's wrong with asking Dale Jr questions? Well, the way things work around here are: Dale Jr fans can ask whatever they want about any driver, but anyone else cannot say anything bad or question anything about Dale Jr because he's the best driver ever. Completely ignore the fact he has only 18 wins and a 16th place average finish, if it wasn't for everything else but him causing him to wreck he'd have 100 billion wins.

But really- even in the states, NASCAR isn't popular everywhere. In California here- a lot of us are car nuts- but while there are certainly NASCAR fans, it's fairly rare. I don't know anyone who follows it. Maybe it's the great mix of nationality here - but there's more excitement over the World Cup and such-

Dale Jr. inherited his father's fans when Senior passed away. The fans of Senior wanted someone else to turn to and carry the torch, so they turned to Junior. I'll be honest. I would have done the exact same thing. Why not?

While i am not a Junior fan i do like him as an individual and i feel as though he could be one of the greatest drivers ever if he was allowed to concentrate on driving and practice instead of having hundreds of people pull him in a hundred directions. I was a fan of his fathers and he told people what they were going to do people did not tell him what to do. I think if Jr gets some of that mentality he will win 2 or 3 championships maybe more

Yes Im a Tony Stewart fan, but I also respect and cheer for Dale JR because he is a great guy with a down to earth attitude. Which you most likely are not from such an ignorant question because your jealous.

I am. I started watching NASCAR in 2000 and he was my favorite then and my favorite now.

I'm proud to be a NON JR fan.   Personally I'm sick of every other nascar commercial featuring a guy who probably would have had sponsor problems a long time ago if he didn't have his daddy's name.  On top of that, most of his fans are only fans because his father died....not because they were fans of SR when he was alive(many don't even believe that Sr was actually heavily booed at times).

i'm not.  Being the son of a legend, he's automatically thrust into some hall of greatness that he should be working towards.  Just like Lennon's sons, Sinatra Jr., Pete Rose Jr., Dale Jr. gets alot more than he has actually earned.
