Is there anyone in south wales who teaches their child/children from home?

hiya i was just wondering is there anyone on here that home teaches their children? im thinking about it but not completely sure.

~x~ i was tort from home and i really don't think its a good idea! i didn't get my GCSE's and i don't like going where there are alot of people as i spent years out of school, its best to put your kids in school so they can learn how to interact with other kids. if u have no other choice but to homeschool then put them in afew after school groups!!! good luck and please make the right choice! ~x~

Hi, I have home educated my daughter for the past nine years with great success.

I live in the Torfaen area of Gwent where we now have quite a number of Home educators.

Let them go to school. Are you trying to bring up social misfits? I don't fancy their chances of passing GCSE English either.

I home educate my children and have found it has benefited them no end!

There must be groups in South Wales who teach their children at home! I know of a few Christians who Home Ed in Cardiff but I don't know any non-Christians who do but there must be a group! Have a look on the web and don't be put off by people who say home educating produces social misfits - that's a misconception! If anything home educated children learn to get on with EVERYBODY - not just their peers which is far more important in the outside world because where else do people spend 6 hours a day, 5 days a week with their peers? Definitely not in the workplace!
