Is there anyone in the military that has been stationed in Italy? I am going to Naples next year and I am looking for some insight. The good, the bad and the ugly. Any info would be great.

Well.. Napoli is very beautiful but I can't say that for people... They seem friendly but Napoli is one of the most criminal city in Italy... stay far from the "Quartiere Latino" zone... is very dangerous for female... and take car of your bag... :-)

Anyway... If you can choose you'd better go in the North of Italy! :-)

I was stationed in Sigonella from 79-84. Absolutely loved it. Didn't want to leave.

summer excuse me, but I love napoli and i've lived all over the world!!!! don't say that all napoletans are evil because that's just nasty!!!! let me just say that in north italy there are MORE evil people......
