my daughter is 15 months old and quite frankly i think she knows when she si doing something bad or someting she shouldnt be doing . the reason why i say she might know is because as soon as she sees either me or her dad coming she will start running and laughing or walking really fast to get away from you. or if you caught her in the act and she has no way to run she will start either singing ,or touching your face or smiling just to get your attention away from what sheis doing . she does this too often . so i am guessing she is starting to know what she can do or can not do . she doesnt have this behavior when she is playing with her toy but let s say a phone or a cell phone or touching the elevtronics. the house is totally child proof so i know she wont get inot that will harm her but still .

is your 15 month old doing this or have they done this ? is she really starting to know what is wrong from right ?

  1. Oh, they know what they are doing!! My son has done this sice he was ten months old!! He's 17 months old now!

  2. Yes, she know what she's doing.  Especially if you've told her over and over about a certain thing.  She's just seeing if you'll let her get by with it.

  3. It's perfect. Dont' sweat it. She's testing out the wolrd. It's all new to her (not right/wrong) If she gests a reaction (i.e. you chase her or laugh or scold her) then she's happy. POsitive or negative, remember this, the thing she wants most is your attention so try to give her mostly positive reinforcement and she will work hard to do those smae positive things over and over again. Of coruse, she will still do "bad' things but again..it's just her testing out the world, being a little scientist.  I would say relax, enjoy her..I have a 2 1/2 year old and he still does this sort of thing. But they grow so fast..it's crazy! so ENJOY every every every minute good and "bad'

  4. Oh yeah, this sounds like my daughter that is 16 months old. She will run from us if she has something she shouldn't have or if she sees me with a diaper to change her. They know cause and effect at that age and a way to push your buttons.
