Is there anyone on here from Venezuela Caracas?

Question

the only reason i ask is my family is from there and is still living there and i am thinking of seeing them next year and i want to know if it is safe and if what the news sayes is true our not

i havent seen them in 4yrs if you can help that would be great signed lesley from maryland

Hi there i live in Venezuela... i think you should come, the reason is simple ITS YOUR family that you haven't seen inf 4 years.

It depends in what economic position your family has... If it is a wealthy family there is much to do, lots of beaches, avila mountain trip etc. Besides that... all the information that you here and read on the internet about Vzla is true. There is nothing to hide, you have to have 8 eyes each time you walk in the streets... because you might be robbed. Thats the day to day for us citizens but... i mean its an excelent city, there are lots of plans... you could go to Margarita beaches its excelent.

You should think about it... its really great to spend some days here.

the first answer is right, Im from venezuela and yes, we have a beautiful country but if you go to caracas, you have to be careful and not do stupid things like carry an expensive digital camera hanging of your neck.

If your family lives here that's good because you wont be alone and they'll know what places are safe enough and which places are not. I hope you enjoy your visit!

Im from Valencia not Caracas but i've been livin in Florida for the past 5 years and I haven't seen my family in 5 years :-(  

but when u go there just use common sense n u'll be fine.
