Is there anyone out there connected to Rotherham (near Sheffield) Uk?

I am trying to find out about a relative of my cousins in the 19th century. His name was John Burley Kay. born in !839 and died in 1915. him and his wife Emma lived at Melton House,in Rotherham.He was a tea dealer,and employed 16 people.There were no children.He had a house keeper,Annie Rymer 29 in 1901. Does anyone know of him,or in general,how would a "tea dealer" work? I know he was wealthy. I would appreciate your help on this,thanks
