  3. Hello,

Sorry to hear you are so young and experiencing anxiety panic disorder.

Not sure if you have hyper or hypothyroidism.  Just a thought here, there is information coming out on soy being a contributer to hypothyroidism.  Not sure if soy is a big part of your diet or not.  If so, eating as little as 30 mg isoflavones (from about 30 g soy protein) per day can result in hypothyroidism with symptoms of lethargy, constipation, weight gain and fatigue.

Just an idea for you, but obviously work with your doctor.

I am a bit older than you, in fact I am a mother.  However, from too much stress in my life, I developed extreme anxiety attacks that disrupted my life for years.

It was a very long, scary journey.  But I am happy to say, I am happy again and no longer experience anxiety attacks.  Yes, I am completely anxiety attack free.   I broke free from the shackles of anxiety.

I share my experience of how I recovered at http://www.healthbanquet.com/anxiety-hop... to share my recovery journey in hopes of helping others.

I will share a bit with you here.  There is a book that is only a few dollars and was a critical piece of learning how to overcome anxiety.

Dr. Claire Weekes (1903-1990) is author of  Hope and Help For Nerves.  It is a must read.

Dr. Claire Weekes is widely known for her phenomenal approach for treating anxiety, panic, and phobic disorders.

She has achieved distinction as being the first woman Doctor of Science at the University of Sydney, and was validated by Queen Elizabeth II for her contributions to medicine.

Her audio and video recordings are also available and are used in treatment centers around the world with dramatic life changing results.

Dr. Weekes was nominated for the Nobel Prize for Medicine in 1983, and once again in 1990.  What an amazing woman!

Her techniques were simple and effective and she believed the mind and body are inextricably linked.  How true indeed!

Millions of people have overcome their anxiety because of her self-help methods, including me.

Also, unlike any other, she will help you thoroughly understand your many physical symptoms which can be caused from overtaxed nerves.

She will explain how your fears feed the anxiety cycle.

My above mentioned website might help you on your journey to overcoming your current anxiety.  It really is possible to heal.

It is also important to address nutrition.  I will be presenting lots of great nutritional traditional wisdom on my website that will teach how to pull in real nourishing foods into the diet to better support your body and mind.

God bless you on your journey to recovery.  I am pulling for you!

  4. Having low thyroid can in and of itself cause anxiety and panic. So if you solve the one problem, you might solve the other.
