Is there anyone out there who doesn't think all things attached to science is real?

  1. Science is very real all parts of it are.  Science is in large part a process of reasoning, thought, and certainly experimentation.  So naturally there is a lot of false science out there, but theoretically, time and evidence will correct it.  Unless of course mainstream scientists have an agenda.

Science encompasses some things that are purely theoretical, such as worm holes - we don't know if they're real or not.  We've gotten enough evidence to consider black holes real, but for a while they were just hypothetical.  Perhaps some day we'll find evidence for worm holes, maybe not, but there will always be conjectures and hypothesis in science that have not yet been validated by tests of falsification with hard data.

    Another thing is that many popular media outlets will announce a single research result as "scientist discovers" and while it may be data based, it's often just a preliminary result that future studies can either prove wrong (usually this is the case) or validate.  Just because the word science is used, it's not magically true.

    On the other hand, for things that have been widely accepted in science, they are as true and real as anything can be.
