  1. YES... I've worked on a couple of them in differenct capacities each time.  It's a 6 month commitment but all your needs are taken care of... food, lodging, uniforms etc.  it's not for everyone, though

  2. I have, 10 years.

    Not as crew, but Staff.

It's nice, I loved it and miss it.

You meet lots of jerks but also nice people.

I work at reception, which can get boring, there is hugfe paperwork and eventually you may have a "float" of like 15000 dollars which is a big responsabilty.

Later I moved to the shops which is my favorite dept.

The work is easy, while you only have to sell stuff (if you become a manager there's lots of paperwork and responsabilities).

the big plus is since the shops are usually duty free they don't open while the ship is docked, so you get free days and can see the site and usually do the tours for free.

Also, since the shops are run by concessions you get to work all over, different ships, different passengers, different destinations etc..

    It's quite nice.

  3. my grandson does and is having a ball. The staff become like your family because they're all away from home for months. They have parties every now and then. It's working right through a six month contract that can be tiring but there are afternoons off to go on exotic beaches etc. give it a go
