Question:

Is there anyone out there who would like to help a stormchaser make target area decisions or even nowcast?

Hey. My name is Jared... I'm a long time weather enthusiast and a fairly new storm chaser. This Spring I'm planning on going storm chasing with my cousin who is not quite familiar with weather terms and weather forecasting, so it would be quite helpful to have a fellow collaborator to help me decide on target locations and strategies. This person should be fluent in weather terminology (CAPE, bulk shear, Hodographs, drylines etc.) and we can communicate via facebook, instant messaging, or even cell phone.

You know what they say...two heads are better than one. heh

Thanks

  1. Jared, I have never gone on a chase before however I am quite fluent in weather terminology including all of the ones that you listed. I have been following storms on the computer for quite a while now yet have never had the opportunity to go out on the field. I'd be more than willing to help you out. You may contact me via email or Yahoo IM.
