I am 28 years old, and I was born with white teeth but when my adult teeth came through they were canary yellow & not just on the outer, it was all the way through the tooth. I'm unsure of what the technical term is but basically I have no enamel and no whitening product will fix this..as this was passed down to me from my mother and is permanent. I do feel very alone in terms of no one else knowing how i feel, as my top teeth are capped white and my bottom teeth are still yellow as i don't have the money to fix them. But the capping breaks off and I really have to be careful with what i eat and how i chew so it doesn't break. I went through high school being ridiculed everyday because it wasn't normal in societies eyes. I basically want to know there is someone out there who might be going through the same thing as me?

  1. You have an enamel defect, you can try a dental training school. Yes caps will keep breaking off as there is no enamel support, just dentine. you should perhaps try for implants. The cost will be less if you accepted into a treatment program at a dental school, dont worry you are not alone.
