Is there anyone out there with the surname TISDALL. It seems quite a rare name.?

That is my surname and the only people I know are relatives and I would be interested to see just how many more have the same surname. I live in the UK

I have located about 270 Tisdall individuals, many belonging to the same family groups i.e. at the same addresses, throughout England, so it is a rare name, you may well be related to all of them.

Also, there are a lot of TEASDALES in the states - could easily be a transliteration, which was very common before the 1900s

Have you tried just putting the name into Google and seeing what comes up?  It may be that someone has done some research into the name, which could be of interest to you.
