Question:

Is there anyone seriously threatening for ROY other than Aviles for KC?

This guy is a totally possessed hitter and is currently batting .340. He also went 4-4 w/ a HR and 4 RBIs yesterday against the Sox.

Are any other rookies cranking out production at this level?

  1. Evan Longoria has bettter numbers

    he leads in

    HRs he has WAY MORE

    RBIS he has WAY MORE

    Runs

    SB

    aviles leads in

    Batting average (woopdie do)

  2. I say Longoria based on what he's done during the whole year, he's been an All Star too.

  3. Evan Longoria,

    Jacoby Ellsbury,

    Tim Lincecum,

    Soto,

there are plenty of guys who could win.

the safe bets are Longoria in the AL and Soto in the NL

  4. Evan Longoria is battling for it. Longoria has more than numbers-- he's a leader on a last-turned-first-place team. That's insane.

  5. I think you can pretty much set the ROY award in stone already.

    AL - Evan Longoria

    NL - Geovany Soto

  6. Aviles has played in only 52 games. You're kidding yourself if you think that he'll win ROY. Evan Longoria and Geovany Soto will be the winners.

It's so sad listening to delusional KC fans. Just sit back and enjoy Tony Gonzalez for these last few years, KC fans. You've got nothing else.

Oh, that really hurts. I'll surely be crying about the Royals beating the Cardinals in interleague play this October when the Cards are in the postseason and the Royals are trading their best players for magic beans.

On top?? The Cards aren't exactly "on top" right now, jackass. I know it's hard for a Royals fan to imagine, but 3rd place is not what some of us consider to be "on top."

Oh, and St. Louis is one of the smallest MLB markets, but our attendance is TOP 5 every year, while KC attendance is BOTTOM 5 every year. I guess that supporting our team EVERY YEAR somehow makes us "bandwagoners" in the eyes of jealous douchebags like you. Sorry that your team has no fans, really, but don't blame us.

And yeah, it was very astute of El Pond to say *exactly* the same thing that the rest of us have said, you moron.

  7. Evan Longoria is ahead of him. Aviles would have to keep that production up for the rest of season which is highly unlikely unless he's not human.

  8. we all know its going to be longoria for rookie of the year no doubt about it
