  1. follow that need....it is threading you....so write...you are like a moth in the ember of candle light....go for it....

  2. Yeah, I get them, but I love writing. It's pretty much the way I express myself.

My advice would be for you to turn off your computer, hide all the pencils, and take a walk outside. Fresh air is a cure-all.

    :)

  3. your need to write is a blessing.

as long as you have self-motivation you will get better and better.

most people aspiring to play guitar do it for other reasons than just for fun, and until they find their own enjoyment for it, they will sit and practice and wonder why they dont get better.... just keep loving it and it will love you back.

  4. Actually, that exact thing happened to me last night, no lie. I was laying in bed, very restlessly. I kept getting up to shut windows and doors. Then, all of the sudden, I had the first four lines of a poem, and I HAD to get up and write it. Even though it was late, my mind was very clear.

My advice would be that, wherever you are, if you can find a paper and pencil, try to write it down. Even if you can only remember fragments, still write it.

  5. Not me, But I do have a similar need.  The need to switch on my computer.  I found that the best solution is to just switch on my computer, so it may be that your best solution is to just take out a notebook, and write.  It isn't a crime. (perhaps a little anti-social if you're in the middle of a conversation with someone, though)
