Is there anyone who has really bad eyesight and has to wear contact lenses of power -12 00 or more and?

still passed the sight test for driving is it really far away as i am worried

  1. It doesn't matter how strong your contacts are, it depends on how well you are seeing when you have them on.

    As long as you are able to see 20/40 in one eye, you will pass. You most likely have better vision than that with your contacts on.

  5. That is very nearsighted, you poor thing!  You should check around for some correction places - you might not be a candidate for lasik depending on where you go and what their parameters are -

    You might want to check into an ophthalmology clinic who specializes in cataract surgery.  Reason being is this:  People who are very nearsighted like you often go to these dr.'s b/c by removing their internal lense of the eye (same thing as cataract surgery) they'll be able to see w/out glasses.  And it's a bonus too - b/c as you get older, you'll never have to worry about getting cataracts.  Hope this helps-
