..aim right at the guy's navel/bellybutton instead of his solar plexus when delivering a stomach punch? Why?

Depends. If someone was assaulting me, I'd go for the solar plexus, although hitting hard enough could kill him.

Punching the naval area would merely hit the intestine, which could be problematic, but not necessarily painful.

"Rabbit Punching", although illegal in boxing, hurts like h**l and, if done right, the attacker would pee blood the next morning. Fists to kidneys, end of story.

no you're wrong. the solar plexus or the sternum is better to hit someone b/c that spot will always be vulnerable b/c the stomach can be made stronger will exercise and the sternum will always be the weaker of the two
