My mom is 68yr old. She lives in Miami and cannot put on her AC unit cause there is no insulation in the house. Her house has not been remodeled in over 25 years. She does not have the money to fix anything that breaks. I help her as much as I can but I also have my family and don't make a great deal of money. She gets no help from the government at all. She lives in a house with no kitchen either just a refrigerator and and a little stove. I f there is anyone out there willing to help we ould greatly and truly appreciate it.

  1. If you move soon.

  2. I would contact the senior citizen center in Miami.  If they can't help then they could probably point you in the right direction to get some sort of assistance for your mother.

    Good Luck!

  3. Yes, start making those calls! There are all kinds of programs for seniors. It just takes a little researching.  Good Luck

  4. Most states have programs which will help to insulate and update homes for free. Call your local utilities service. Many of them can provide list to govt. programs and or your local county can also provide list and services provided for residence. Also there are programs which can cut phone bills and services which can help with taxes, food, utilities and many more. Do your homework and start making the calls. It's easy to save thousands every year with these provided resources.
