Question:

Is there anything I can do to help my grades in maths?

I'm doing pretty well in most subjects, I get A's and B's in pretty much every other subject, (there was a period when I kind of gave up on everything school related, but thankfully, I'm out of that now, and actually working pretty hard.) but I'm getting mainly C's and D's in maths. I do school via a distance education program, so it makes it pretty hard to keep in touch with my teachers. But back on topic, I'm very passionate about a lot of possibly career options that would involve really good maths grades, and I've spent quite a while on trying to understand the concepts, but no matter how hard I try, it's just not sinking in. Basically: how can I improve my grades, and is there anything I could do to help me focus on the concepts and understand them fully?

Sorry the question was so long, I have a habit of rambling on.
