Question:

Is there anything I can do with a lot of seashells?

Well, me and my little sister [[mostly her, though]] find lots of seashells when we go to the beach. She insists on keeping them all, so she has lots of them! I was wondering, is there anything you can do with them? She was thinking of painting some of the shells, which I thought was a good idea, but I'm not sure what she'd do with them when she was done! :D

Any ideas would be appreciated.

Thanks,

~~Ali. :)

  1. There are all kinds of things that you can do with seashell crafts. Here is a list of some of some things u can do with seashells.....glue them on cups,jars,frames,candles..you could put magnets on the back of them and use as a magnet,or just put them as centerpieces in the middle of tables oe something

I hope this helps you a bit ;)

  2. make a windchime your sister will love it i know my nieces do

  3. You can use them to make a craft. All you need is a hot glue gun and you can make a wreath, or any other kind of craft you want. Be creative! You can do a lot of things with a couple of seashells. You can also sell them if you are really good at a garage sale or just a tiny candy sell or whatever you want. Here is a website. When you get there, click on Summer on the side.

  4. buy a mirror in a frame, use hot glue to glue the shells around the frame, seal with a clear spray varnish. remember the more shells the better. you can also glue sand to the frame.

    Decorate picture frames, see above.

look at the shells. some of them will have small holes in them. they will make excellent jewellry.

Small shells can be glued on to buttons to dress up any outfit.

  5. you can go to walmart and get those clear vase's plastic or glass and get a glue gun and just glue the shells all around the vase until its covered with shells.  they make great presents.  you could do the same with anything else.

also you could spread alot of them around plants outside for a pretty landscaping idea.  if you have a fish tank you could put them in your fish tank to give it a more realistic look.  you can super glue them on to almost anything to make it look better like for example a worn out picture frame to make the frame look really neat.  there are endless possibilities for sea shells.

  6. She can sell them by the sea shore.

  7. The small shells would look nice in a glass jar.

  8. Putting them in a nice glass vase is the easiest idea.  If they are small, I have seen them glued around candles--it looks really nice.

  9. My goodness the possibilities are endless.

Windchimes.  glued to terra cotta pots. Place shells in shadow boxxes with vials of sand from differant beaches you have been to.

Jewlery.  The list goes on and on Have fun
