I get a thick, slimy discharge often, and it's ruining all my underwear!

Is there anything I can do so that I don't have to deal with this?

  1. The only thing I can think of is wear panty liners....

  2. you should definitely have this checked out by a doctor

  3. is this a new thing or always happened? if it's new then prob a dr visit is in order.  if you have always been this way then it's normal for you.  I would wear pantyliners all the time.  I only had more when I was ovulating or just after my period.

  4. eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeewwwwwwwwwwwwww... that's nasty

  5. Wear pantiliners!! They work wonders!!! They are very thin and small so you don't even feel them during the day. The liners immediately soak it up so it doesn't ruin your underwear and you don't feel it down there either! I used to have the same problem as you, but now I don't! I use the Carefree brand. They have a bunch of different sizes and shapes so you can find the one that works best for you. I like to use the Body Shape Long ones. They are just right. Here is the website so you can see the different kinds they offer:

Good luck and I hope this helps you out, I know it helped me out!!

  6. See a gyno or a doctor. This is normal, so no need to panic, but you should check it out "just in case"

  7. The v****a is self-cleaning.  This same discharge increases the closer you get to ovulation and when you are sexually aroused. Trust me, you don't ever want it to go away.  It means your body is working properly.  Buy and wear pantyliners.

    Different Types of Discharge:

White: Thick, white discharge is common at the beginning and end of your cycle. Normal white discharge is not accompanied by itching. If itching is present, thick white discharge can indicate a yeast infection.

Clear and stretchy: This is "fertile" mucous and means you are ovulating.

Clear and watery: This occurs at different times of your cycle and can be particularly heavy after exercising.

Yellow or Green: May indicate an infection, especially if thick or clumpy like cottage cheese or has a foul odor.

Brown: May happen right after periods, and is just "cleaning out" your v****a. Old blood looks brown.

  8. i have that, too.. my mom said it could be a yeast infection- is it whitish yellow? because then it's most likely an infection.. no biggie, there's a pill or something for it.. mine stopped after i had it for about two years.. it was gross and yeah, lol, it stained my underwear, too!! just gently wash yourself (down 'there') with a mild soap, and put a lot of water on the washcloth.. it should help, it worked for me =)
