I want to learn how to flip my guitar over my shoulder but I don't want to risk breaking my guitar or anything. . . Any ideas on how to avoid this? Also, any tips on actually performing the trick?? Thanks.

  1. This may sound like I'm being a party pooper, however, It's not a good idea to mess around with your axe.  So, don't try tricks, maybe stage areobics, but not tricks.  If you must do tricks though, you should probably go buy a pair of straplocks just in case anything goes wrong.

    Good Luck!

  2. You either need to be willing to drop your ax or by a cheapy to practice with. You'll need a good strap lock and just let a rip. Ive tried and think its easier to go under to over but that's just me.

  3. Well, I suggest making something that is about the same weight and shape.

I personally would NEVER do it because I don't want to hurt my Les Paul.

Also, make sure the strap is secure so it wont snap off.

Be very careful and have some type of cushion so if it does fall, it will land on something soft and squishy.
