  2. I'm not sure what you mean. When you take the bobbin out, you replace it with another bobbin in the color of the thread you are currently using. If you don't have another bobbin, then you have to remove the thread from it and load it up with the color you want.

    Is the bobbin stuck or something? Why do you mean by replacing it?

No, but if you've lost your bobbin(s), but still have the bobbin case, they're pretty easy to get replacements for.  Many machines use a "class 15" or "class 66" bobbin, while others use proprietary bobbins.  A good sewing machine repair shop can tell you the sort of bobbin you need (you'll need the maker and model number of your machine) and will probably have replacements on hand.

    If you've lost the bobbin case, too, replacements are also available for those.
