Is there anything I can put on the ends of my hair either wet or dry to stop them or limit split ends?

I get my hair cut every 6 weeks but due using straighteners a lot I have split ends. I condition my hair every night and use an intensive one once a week. is there anything I can put on the ends of my hair either wet or dry to stop them or limit them? Thanks

  1. Ask your styllist.  There is a tonic/treatment to use before using a straightening iron.  You also might want to invest in a better straightening iron.  There are some on the market that are less damaging.


  2. I would suggest getting some treatments done that will strenghten your hair. You could also use products in it that help protect it from breaking when doing things such and blow drying, flat ironing, anything heat related  really :) Good luck

  3. Yes . In fact i got a really good one from Avon. It was effective and afforable.

    Its called: Adavance Techniques Dry Ends Serum and reall works on split ends. It was only £3-4 i think. I totally recommend it!

  4. I read in a magazine that if you put leave in conditioner in you hair and then put a flat iron to the ends where its splitting it will seal them. They will come back but it might help so you don't have to keep getting your hair cut so offend.
