Question:

Is there anything a stylist can do to get this black dye out of my hair??

My hair was dyed medium brown, and my natural hair color is light auburn. My roots started growing, but I wanted to save some money this month by skipping the salon. My husband kept telling me to let him dye my hair this month so I finally said Okay. Needless to say I ended up with BLACK hair - the bottom is over processed, dark, and unhealthy. My hair is right past my chin. Is there anything the salon can do? I know my hair dresser is gonna lecture me till no end.

  1. Black is the hardest hair colour to get rid of.

Bleaching is probably the only real option, alternitively, keep washing your hair with a tea tree shampoo such as vosene or TGel (strips the hair of unnatural colour) as often as you can :)

    hope this helps.

  2. hello... you don't necessarily have to go to a hair dresser to get color removed. I have dyed my hair BLUE BLACK and JET BLACK many times and I use " Color Oops Extra Strength Hair Color Remover". You can buy it at Walgreen's. Its inexpensive and it saves you the money you pay at the salon.

I must want ya though.. its stinky! but it does the job, and it doesnt damage your hair. GOOD LUCK!

DO NOT BLEACH YOUR HAIR! Black dye and bleach are the worse things you can do to your hair... TRUST ME "I KNOW"!
