  1. If you happen to be there around 15 or 18 July, try to visit the Breton 'Gorsedd' ceremony on the Menez Meur, Hanvec.South of Roscoff and Morlaix and not far from village of Brasparts. It is a beautiful spot in the middle of massive trees, a bardic stone circle and bardic ceremony, just as in Wales, conducted in the Breton language, where Welsh, Cornish and Breton representatives meet in their bardic regalia.

  2. I just love the port town of St Malo.  It is beautiful and you can get great seafood there.

  3. Try this web site. www.brittany-france.com.

Been many times, you won't be disappointed. It it is fantastic, and the french are perfect hosts. Going in 3 weeks!!!

  4. The castle of dukes of Brittany in Nantes (Naoned)

  5. Pont Aven is a lovely little town - good mills to photograph and go on market day, you may still see some ladies with traditional Breton headdresses.

Try Fou Mad biscuits while you're there, then drive to Port Manech for a nice beach and little restaurants.

Riec sur Belon is fab for oysters and palourdes and used to have a totally deserted beach
