Is there anything at all a vegetarian can eat to build more muscle?

  6. i dont understand vegetarians. i just dont get it. humans were made to eat meat. and when they dont its just stupid!!

    no theres no way that you can gain muscles without eating protein.

  11. Yes. A big fat juicy steak. Medium rare you know, so it's still a bit bloody.  

  12. Eating doesn't build muscle; exercise does.  Particularly weight lifting or strength training.  I haven't changed my vegan diet at all, but I've been working out hard (1.5 to 2 hours a day) doing cardio and weights, and I've definitely built more muscle.

  15. you need a protein rich diet - if you cant eat nuts - then try different types of cheeses - pulses and lentils are also great

    you can also buy 'build up' which is a nutritional drink from boots it is vegetarian and great for muscle build up

  16. basically you need protein.  egg whites are a good source of protein and have no cholesterol and very little fat if any.  you can make a huge egg white omelette with your fav veggies.  whole wheat toast.  

  17. There's a vegan protein powder on the market called NitroFusion that is supposed to be even better than whey protein. I plan to get some this week because I read great reviews about it. Google Nitrofusion and protein and you'll see the info.

  19. You can buy natural whey protein powder from sports shops - with that and a good exercise programme, you'd pile on the muscle.

  20. pacific foods i am not sure although do eat a lot of protein. you can also go to your local health shop Holland and Barret and you can buy this huge tub for gaining muscle, it comes in powder form and you mix it to make a milkshake, i think it puts weight on you which then allows you to turn that extra weight in to more muscle ?.

  22. Well if you cant eat nuts, can you eat eggs?  Protein builds muscle.  Eggs and Nuts are both filled with protein.  The only other thing I can think of that might have quite a bit of protein it are black beans.
