Is there anything available to prevent my shoe polish from melting in the Arizona sun?

Every time I leave the house, it's like there's a Zippo being held up to my boots, and all of my polish melts right off in the extreme heat here. It got up to 120-something yesterday.

Thanks!

  1. it's called a freezer!

  2. Use LESS polish than you normally would ( many folks use more than needed anyhow), and on the final buffing, use a little alcohol, instead of water.. it will HELP, but not completely if there is too much polish left after buffing.. remember, buffing with a brush just gets the top layer of polish, buffing with a "spit shine" technique gets down deeper, hence the mirror finish.

  3. keep a polishing rag with you...when you rub in the heated polish it will make your shoes shinier....other than that i dont know what to tell you...
