Is there anything called the Southern lights?

I have heard of the Nothern lights but what about the south side? Is there southern lights?

  4. Yes there are. More commonly know as the 'Southern Lights' Aurora Australis is most commonly seen from Antarctica. It can also been seen from Hobart in Tasmania, and in a small remote town of South Australia.

    I have personally never seen them, except in pictures and things, but they are soooo pretty... It would be so wicked to see them, especially from Antarctica lol
