Is there anything fun to do in France?

Doesn't have to be any particular city, but I prefer Paris, if it has anything to do.

By "fun" I mean like 'wild rides in Disney World' fun or 'gigantic carnival' fun, not just sightseeing and shopping. And Disneyland Paris doesn't count.

P.S. How is Disneyland Paris?

  1. Oh, well, then ride the Metro.  The Paris Underground, tubes, whatever you wish to call it, is the best in the world.

  2. Many things funny to do in Paris.

    Eurodisney you are right.

If you like such parks, try also Parc Astérix in the north of Paris :

It's really worth seing. A little bit smaller than Eurodisney but more french. The French prefer generally this one !

    This attraction is terrible !!

  3. Man if you want wid rides and gigantic carnival... Go to the States!!! France is cultural country!!!

  4. I agree with the person above me.  Why spend all that air fare going to France if all you want is amusement parks?  You might as well just stay in the States.  Go to Las Vegas, or Florida are where ever the nearest 6 flags is to you.

If you want to experience another country, then go abroad.  However, you are the one who is paying for the trip, so you have to decide how you want to spend your time.  France is a big country with loads of stuff to do, so it is up to you to decide how you will use your time since you would only be there for a short while.  Do you want to do things like hike, go boating, stay on the beach, experience the food, see some cathedrals, practice the language, see some museums, paint pictures or just drive around?  All of the above, none of the above, some of the above?  Why see the Louvre if you going to hate it?  If you'd enjoy a cross country bike ride instead then go for that.  It is your money and your time, do your homework and decide what you want to do.

  5. Seriously don't come to France if you are planning on doing stuff you could do in the US. It would just be a waste of time and money.
