  1. Stop pinching it.

  2. Why did you wait so long and stay like this  =/

If you didn't wait until it was so advanced it would have been a lot less painful to treat. Sciatica is a long and tricky treatment and the pain is bad. I know and I feel for you. Hang in there! It will go away you just need to tough it out, listen to the doctor's instructions and follow them to the last word. I went to the hospital twice, they gave me a shot, and by the next day I was fine. The pain hasn't returned ever since(knock on wood) and this was like hmm...when I was about 20 or 21. There aren't any home remedies to fix this. Why don't you ask your doctor about neurontin, its a nerve pain blocker and is used for epilepsy mainly, but doctors are also using it to treat nerve pain, with no side effects. 200mg twice a day should do it and can be increased to 900mg.

    In the meantime...

You can go out and purchase something called TENS machine. There are usually 2 little things that you stick on the surrounding area where you are getting the pain. These are attached to a small device which have batteries and volume controls, you can adjust these to suit the pain you are experiencing. The machine emits small electric pulses, there are usually 3 settings and you can choose which one you like best..just make sure you don't stick the pads on old scar tissue. I hope it works out for you and please, go see your doctor. You deserve to enjoy your life pain free, don't let this pinched nerve take over your life. God bless.

  3. At home the best thing you can do is ice packs on your back twice a day for a half hour or so, a smaller one with a shirt in between and moving it around every couple minutes.

I love pushups and situps, and dips with my back against a chair and legs out straight in front.

Do three to four sets of all of these as many as you can comfortable do 10 to 20 or so of each.

  4. Fix it at home? No, nothing you can do.

However, you could go to a kinesiologist who will probably fix it rather quickly by working on what "pinches" it.

    All the best!
