You will need a card reader and recovery software. The link below has a FREE program which works very well...but it may not recover all files.

good luck...in future NEVER format your card unless you need to delete all images from it. You only would do this AFTER you have uploaded them to your computer.

If it was a low level format, maybe. Go to

http://www.datarescue.com/

and download the PhotoRescue software demo. Run the demo to see if there are any recoverable photos. If there are,buy the software ($30) and recover the photos.

If you want to try and recover those missing photos, do not use the card to take more photos, you might overwrite what you are trying to recover. Do not reformat the card.

You can try using an image recovery program.  If you have used the card to record any more photos after formatting, then no.
