She is overdue, and started showing signs of going into labor yesterday, and it seems to be taking its time getting started.

Anything i can do to speed it up to help her get it over with?

  1. If she went into labor yesterday you need to get her to a vet ASAP. She should have had her pups by now. One of them may be stuck in the birth canal and the rest of the pups can die. Get off the computer and into the vet.

  2. She should have been done by now. Get to the vet ASAP. Unless you live in a very rural area, there will be an emergency vet somewhere.

In the future, reflect on the experience, and for pete's sake get your dog spayed. Unless you have a registered show animal with excellent bloodlines, you are the MAJOR source of unwanted pets that end up on the kill line of Humane Societies across the nation.

MILLIONS of pets are euthanized every year. Take a guess how many of that cute litter will end up cold, abandonded and alone, sitting on a concrete floor in a kennel. Young and healthy, but waiting to be killed so they can make room for the mistakes of thousands of other backyard breeders like you.

    GET SPAYED!

  3. Unless you're a veterinarian.

  4. you need to take her to an animal E.R. because I am sure that is too long for a dog to be in labor without any puppies coming out.

  5. She needs a vet NOW.

She's overdue, she went into labor yesterday and hasn't produced a pup. She can't wait.

If you don't get her to a vet and soon you risk losing all the dogs.

  6. get her to a vet. if you wait to long you could endanger her life and the life of the puppies.

  7. Get the dog to the vet.  This is what happens when people who know nothing about breeding have unaltered animals.

  8. She needs to be seen by a vet now. She may have a puppy lodged in the birth canal or worse. They will take X-rays and see what the problem might be and help her out. She really needs to be seen ASAP.
