Is there anything i can make for my baby Sulcata Tortoises?

Is there anything i can make for my baby Sulcata Tortoises?

I'd like something i could make, maybe out of wood, to put in their cage and that is useful or fun for them. Any ideas? But it doesn't have to be out of wood maybe legos or something?

u know doin that and handling him alot u can stress him out really bad and u can kill him that way

What i did for my babies is i bought a baby pool

cut some drain holes in the bottom of the plastic baby pool

filled it with dirt

and planted flowers and grass and fruits....all in their diet

i built a cave out of rocks so if it gets too hot they can go in the shade

they love exploring the pool and they get plenty of good excersize...not to mention they eat like pigs while they are in there!

i keep a short sided bowl in there full of water...deep enough for them to get in and out on their own but not too deep.

If you are worried about birds or raccoons getting them you can cover it with some bird mesh or chicken wire.

My sulcattas love it and not to mention the great benefits from real sun..and fruits veggies and grass they eat..

if you are going to build them something just make sure its not something they can crawl up and fall off of.

anything else or any other questions let me know.....

and if you have a healthy tortoise handling it every once in a while will not kill it! so dont listen to that mess!
