Question:

Is there anything in scotland but castles?

I keep looking up tourist information sites and travel sites to try and plan where i want to visit in Scotland nad it all seems to be castles - can anyone give me any other ideas??

  1. Typical tourist guide....There are not many Castles really.

    In Scotland.  Most of the Castles are ruins anyway.

    It all depends what you like to see.

    There is lovely scenery, hills & heather.

    The Islands round (mostly the west coast) are nice, If you like that sort of thing.  

    If you go for instance by train from Carlisle in England, to Edinburgh or Glasgow there are miles & miles of super Scenery, Hills forests etc
