  5. There is nothing redundant, obsolete or too ordinary to the mind, but the mind that has become so, the mind that has lost its wonder, its lustre, its brilliance and its sense of being alive. This question can be asked a young boy whose mind is buzzing with curiosity, who can still be inspired into doing great things, whose imagination has not been cut short to fit the basic necessities of a mundane and the ordinary life.

A truly inquisitive and curious mind can always infuse new sense into the meanings of things and can find novel ways of understanding all that is new and old. I do not think we ever lose our ability to see things differently, to experience life from new perspectives, to seek out meanings hidden from the eye of the most, we like all other things in our lives grow weary of novelty itself, and seek familiarities instead for the peace and comfort our being.

The fact is that we ultimately aim to find the familiar in all the new and wonderful we seek in the beginning. We always try to find a better sense of ourselves, a better understanding of our life, and the rest of time we spend in feeding what we have already found.

Things stop becoming cliché for us when we break out of our comfort zones where we need assurances, when we have mind enough to harbour doubts, and courage to question what we already know. Things start becoming cliché for us when we are ourselves infused with some passion or a vision or a dream.
