  1. If you don't want to ride a bike because it can be hard work, have you considered an electric bicycle? You can either purchase an entire electric bike or a kit to turn your current bike electric. I recently purchased and inexpensive electric bike from Walmart.com. It works pretty well and I hardly ever break a sweat going from place to place around my city. It can reach 18 mph on its own and can go even higher with light pedaling.

It only costs $350, which is pretty cheap for an electric bike.

I'm not sure if you can ride them on the street in Idaho but you can most likely ride them on the sidewalk.

If you are leaning towards buying a kit, www.fiveflagsmotorbikes.com is a great site, not only for kits, but for the electric bikes too.

You could always just get a moped. You do need a license, but in most states, it's just a written test you have to pass. They get great mileage to.

    Hope I could help.
