I already asked this in the dog section but I thought I would post this here as well!!!

I have a 10 month old boston terror, who is literally a terror. I swear she is jekel and hyde. I have had her examined by a vet and she has nothing wrong medically...I am looking for something homeopathic maybe an herb or something natural that I can give my dog to calm down. I have her at work with me all day and give her at least an hour walk every day.. I also have another dog that they play together...so I dont know any other way to calm her down. I use a howlite crystal charm on her collar to help with her aggression and then I use a rose quartz for love on her crate at night...I also spray lavender in it to calm her down...I also am using a calming organic solution in her water...Does anyone recommend anything else?? THANKS!

  1. there is a great herbal remedy to calm hyper dogs, and humans too. its called rescue remedy. All you do is add a few drops to their water and they wont even know its there. And its completey safe and wont hurt them.  It works wonders. You can buy it online, usually comes in a kit. Good Luck

  2. At bird stores they sell Chamomile flowers which calm and soothe birds and human beings to. You could mash some up in a bit of peanut butter or wet food at night. Some of it is that terrier they are just always busy looking for things, like rats, rodents its in their biology. Please do check if it is safe for him first. A non herbal is benedryl  1 mg per pound of dog every six hours. I use it for my pugs allergies. Sounds like you are really being a good pet owner so give yourself a pat on the back for that.

  3. At that age most dogs are hyper, u need to get the dog some chew toys or chew bones to make the dog happy.

Let the dog run free in the yard and run off that energy.

Take the dog for hikes in the woods and creeks.

When the dog gets older it will just lay around, so use this hyper to the advantage and teach the dog to get the frisbee .

The dog will eventurally slow down with age. Enjoy these hyper moments, throw a stuff animal in the yard and let the dog go to town playing with it. Good Luck, take care of the doggie. Honey is soothing also to the dog and rub olive oil on its paws
