There is this dance studio I work at and the owners lie about being certified and their past work. For example, the one guy has never taken a dance class or gymnastics class in his life yet he lies and misleads students about his past and teached them very very poorly. I think this company should be shut down because of its misleading, fraud-like running but is there anything i can do? these people are not recieving the proper care they should for the money they pay. would you want your kid attending a gymnastics class with a teacher who has no past experience and doesnt know how to spot children? What do you guys think? Thanks!

  1. well, i think u needa sue that place, find evidence and go sue them make sure that evidence is good enough to go against them

  2. Well as a parent, I would need proof that they were not qualified. Once I found out they were not qualified, I would picket in front of the business. (on the sidewalk off their property and be sure to keep moving with the sign- then they can not get you for loitering)

As an employee, you can privately tell the parents who bring their children there about the lack of experience the teachers have. Tell them to ask the teachers for proof of their teaching and educational history. When they can't provide it, they will know what they are getting into at least.

You can also contact your local news station. Many of them have a type of "hall of shame" thing they do with businesses that are not being honest with their clients. Send them proof and tell them your concerns about this company. Explain that you are worried about the children. Many times they will take it up as a human interest story and this would get the word out that it is not a reputable place.

EDIT: Look for the "better business bureau" in the local phone book and call the number and report them. You can also ask them what further action you can take to protect the people who are going to this business.

  3. Get evidence and report them. Especially when children's safety and lives are at stake.
