I have Hughes.Net and I'm allowed 200 mb per 24 hours. I Have NetMeter which tracks every day from Midnight one day until Midnight the next, but I need to know every 24 hours so I don't exceed my download threshold. I hope someone understands me and helps me out.

  1. 200 MB per 24 hours is quite small so i understand your concerns. I don't have any limitations but i prefer to know how much data is coming and going. I use BitMeter, a totally free software that, among many other things, can tell you how much data has been transferred in the last 24 hours  and the total amount per month. It breaks it all down into uploads, download and total of both, as well as average transfer rate in the time period. In fact as I'm sitting here, I just realized it can tell you how much data was transferred in each hour of each day! The interface on the desktop isn't fancy but it's configurable and resizable.

    here's the link
