1. Cuddalore is a nice place to live. You can getting almost everything at Cuddalore or else you can go to Puducherry (~23 Kms. from Cuddalore) to buy things.

2. It is the land of divine and holiness. The great Natarajar Temple of Chidambaram where Thevaram was found out, is located in this district.

3. Great Shaivite Saint Thirunavukarasar was born in this district.

4. Cuddalore is connected by Bus to all parts of Tamilnadu.
