Is there anything that can be done...?

I am a college student with one of the most rudest teacher ever. The entire class of 16 students have been rewarded failing grades because she is not a good teacher. I know this is not so because everyone in this class has a 3.5 and higher. The bad part is this is suppose to be the easiest class on campus and it is, she just seems to try and make it hard. What can we do?

There are only 3 days left in the semester.

A D is not even allowed in this class its considered an F.

Any suggestions, because this is a required class and if we fail, we will all be dropped from the course for 12 weeks.

  1. talk to the dean or the head of the students, or student affairs, go over the b1tches head.. I had a teacher like that one time, got her a55 fired too because she is doing to you what mine was doing to us...

  2. sorry not a lot of time is there but if all sixteen of you go to the principle he/she might intervene, I expect you realise youve left it a little late.

Its a shame that teachers like this are allowed to teach at all, there's not many like this and it is the students who suffer anyway give it a try

    Good luck

  3. With these facts in hand you need to take a visit to the Dean. There are some people who allow the problems of frustration permeate into their professional live. It appears that this is what this person is doing by failing everyone. It just not logistically possible that everyone is failing - that means that the teacher is the one who is failing. School / College administrators are aware of this which is why the look over the instructors / or professors pass fail ratio - basically looking for a bell curve of sorts. When it is to skewed one way or another then their attention is drawn.

You need to bring this to their attention immediately. I suggest that all 16 of you do this together. Select two to three individuals as the spokespersons. The information that you should have in hand - the activities / or learning activities you have done for that class / showing the grades/ your cumulative GPA / any type of evidence that illustrates your point on paper. I would actually summarize the situation in a formal letter - that represents everyone in class.

  4. Well if you find other classes that have him then maybe you should all come togeather and start talking to the mann on top

    sorry my english...

  5. Has the class tried talking to her in a very polite but direct manner?  If that didn't/doesn't work the class needs to go to the department head.  If that doesn't work go to the provost/dean.  If all 16 have a 3.5 GPA or higher and all are failing there is a problem with the teacher.
