Is there anything that compares to onstar?

Ford is promoting a no-hands on board mobile phone, but there's nothing really close to the full range of onstar features that I've seen advertised.

Not at the moment, since General Motors still holds the protective copyright on the OnStar system

No and Fords system is not even close.

I don't know but I do know that I'll never get it since it's equipped with a camera. I like my privacy and most everything onstar does I can do myself with a cellphone. And I never lock my keys in the car and even if I did I can break a window and replace it for under 100 bucks.

My cell phone comes close and I can take it with me.  What else does Onstar do that's worth the money?

I just saw a commercial from tom tom and supposedly you can get help when you need it not to sure how true it is though. Other than that no other car makers have anything to compete with onstar.
