  1. Dont make jokes against a particular caste or religion..

  2. there were ancient boundaries in place, but they have been removed and replaced with political correctness.

  3. Any forms of abuse to children, women, men, pensioners, animals

  4. making jokes about other peoples preferences is most unkind

  5. Gallows humour keeps us sane.

And in that respect, anything is fair game.

  6. No, but you have to be careful to whom you tell the jokes. Jokes are meant to be funny, not hurtful.

However, there are some people who cannot laugh at themselves and that's when you have to have a little empathy with your audience.

  7. courgettes

  8. I believe that everything should be laughed at joked about.  Laughter is one good excuse for living when you don't have very many reasons.  Writer Oscar Wilde said "Life is much too important to be taken seriously".

  9. Everything in creation has its light and dark sides,if we are unable to laugh at ourselves and all that we have created ,then we are not ready to move on.

  10. There are different kinds of humour. Some kinds are really offensive to minority group s some comedians seem to be able to use any material and not be offensive.

I think it comes from poking fun at humanity and loving it at the same time  and showing us our inconsistencies and  our non working  systems rather than just being brutal about small interest groups.

I think you can say anyhting at all if you have warmth for your subjects not hatred or fear and people will understand that . I think it also helps to know the inside story of what you are taking the rise out of

Some comedians are just downright abusive

  11. Unless ur Chris Rock or Eddie Murphy I'd leave Race out of the joke field. U might want to rethink joking about somebody with a disability as well.

Race is a tricky issue and U could get ur head busted.

  12. Other peoples beliefs no matter how you may disagree.

  13. The situations humorous amuse us. They could relieve us of the stresses and strains of our life. A good sense of humour breaks ice between people and lightens up the environment. It is good to laugh, but it is essential to be discerning and sensible. If used wisely sense of humour could prove to be elixir for good health and fine temperament. I like the company of witty people who have good sense of humour, who would not make fun of others for no good reason, the people who have refined senses and who would not exploit misfortunes and situations of other for their selfish needs for amusement. One could be genuine, creative, funny and descent all at once.

I see that if there is anything in life that could be made jokes about that would be made jocks about. What about this fact to begin with? As I think if there is some aspects about anything that could make us laugh then someone will have a go. This is natural in us to seek fun and entertainment, to seek out awkwardness is situations, unlikely flaws in people, amusing contradiction and combinations in our knowledge of all things that could tickle our sense of humour - most people won’t miss a chance of a laugh.

The question therefore is not if there is anything that must not be laughed at, the question is if there is someone who must not make fun of something or any thing. Sometimes we can afford to laugh at things, sometimes we can afford to have fun but some other times we simply cannot. I think it depend not on the things but on the ones who choose to make jokes. The ditch person who made fun of the Gallows was eventually hanged at the same place. Then if someone could earn the privilege and have the courage, wisdom and the ability then one could proceed at one’s own discretion to make fun of whatever one may see fitting for his purpose.

  14. Any and everything can be humorous and turned into a joke.  The key as any good comedian will tell you is timing.  The right place and time is what makes something "taboo" acceptable in a given circumstance.  George Carlin (may he rest in peace) was famous for offending everyone with his humor, but he set it up in such a way that we could cringe at what he said, but still find it funny.

  15. you can make jokes about anything, just you can't tell all of those jokes to everyone. you wouldn't tell a poor joke to someone who is poor. say anything you want, just try not to offend anybody near you.

  16. Basically, humans know what not to joke about, but I'd say, important stuff or people you should never joke about would be, a person who has a disability, old people, children, since they are vulnerable and can take something to heart and cause emotional problems, later on in life. When people get hurt by say, falling down the stairs and for some reason, someone thinks it's funny enough to get on tape.... you get my drift.

  17. Things that you aren't supposed to make jokes about are a joke.

  18. Everything :))
