Hire an Indian snake charmer to just hang out in your yard. They work cheap.

One thing you can try is dump moth balls around your house, but beware, they are poisonous. another thing you can try is take human hair and put it on random plants, it irritates there skin.

Also encourage crows.. they eat snakes. good luck!

Snakes do not like to be seen. Remove hiding places such as things stacked up near the house. Keep the grass cut.
