I have read that eating yams makes you more likely to conceive twins.. I know most of this is mumbo jumbo.. so I wasn't sure.. Do you know of anything such as vitamins or vegetables or supplements and such that could increase your chances?? Things that increase ovulation.. etc..

any comments not actually trying to help can find themselves elsewhere.. Please don't be one of those rude lurkers waiting to make a rude remark.. thanks

My husband and I would really like twins.. My grandfather on my dads side is an identical twin.. He has 6 kids and 18 grandkids and 10 great grandkids.. and a great great on the way.. Not one set of twins.. He is close to the end of his life and was telling me a few days ago that he wishes that one of his grandkids had a set of twins.. I was just curious if there was any way to help those odds along...

Does the twin gene come from me or my husband.. Then does it come from our mothers or our fathers??

Thanks in advance for any advice.. I know its a lot... thanks

  1. If either of your familys have a history of multiples, that increases your chances.  Other than that, there are fertility drugs.  Be careful, you could have more than you expected!!
