Do not wash your hair every day. Try to go several days between washing it. This will allow the natural oils your scalp produces to help your hair. Mine was cut to about two inches long four years ago and is now down to the middle of my back.It also helps to brush it less because brushing it damages it. Try braiding it in fairly loose braids instead.If your hair looks oily put some baby powder on a natural fiber brush and brush it through your hair between washings. My hair has grown over an inch in the last two months with this method.
