Is there anything that will smoke a Charger srt8 around the same price range?

im totally gonna get one, is there anything else out there thats better for around 43k? talking in terms of luxury too

Not as fast but less money and better looking is the new Pontiac G8. You can get the GT for around$34,000 with sunroof, leather and all that good stuff. The two other cars that are faster for around that price is the BMW 335i (it will have to be a base model), or the BMW 135i (most likely with little amount of features).

Hmmm..If you feel like waiting a while the new camaro is suppost to be faster,cheaper,and I think it looks way cooler.

There is supposed to be a higher performance version of the Pontiac G8 with around 400hp and a 6sp manual.  That should be a bit faster than an SRT8 and cost a little less overall.  It is due out in the very near future.  Maybe a G8 GXP?

I still say to get a corvette instead.  For about the same amount of money,  you have a more refined sports car, better handling, better power, better resale.

BMW 335i has been tested to hit 0-60 in only 4.8 seconds.  And the quarter in only 13.5.   With a starting price of only $39,675.

The charger is a tick quicker in the quarter at only 13.2, with the same 0-60 time.  

But, there is a huge difference in the luxury part.  A BMW  is a BMW, it'll out handle, be a lot more comfy, and just better overall.

This is coming from a huge mopar fan, whom loves the charger srt-8.  But for your hard earned dollar, you'll have to take a look at the 335i, it simply is one of the best values out there.
