Is there anything we can do about the crime in Mexico?

It is really bad. The drug gangs are way out there. Beheadings, and the kidnapping and killing of the 14 year old boy, that's just too much. Is there anything we can do? I feel sorry for the people who live down there. What can we do?

Campaign to Legalize pot?

One of the main reasons why the drug lords have $$$ is cux of the pot market (though there's other stuff that comes through).

Legalized marijuana would at least take away the incentive of having pot smuggled into the country. I'm sure it won't do much, but it's a small step in the right direction.

...or wait...how about legalizing the "illegal" drugs? Comeon, the reason why those drug lords are rich and can do **** is because of the fact they have an incentive to smuggle the stuff. Smuggling and the black market = lots of $$$.

That's on our end anyway. As for the stuff in Mexico, they just really need to get their act together. How, I'll get back to you on that.

Granted it's bad yes.............but I can't see justifying helping the crime problem in another country before we fix the problems in our own.........just my personal opinion
